ANTHONY G. LADOS Print
ladosTony Lados was born in Tillsonburg and raised by his Hungarian parents on a tobacco farm in Norfolk County: he still speaks Hungarian fluently. After graduating from high school in Delhi and completing his post-secondary education in London, he returned to marry Angela and to raise their daughters in Norfolk.

Tony graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 1976, has been a member of the firm since then and became a full partner in 1986. He is a past President of the Norfolk Law Association and Director of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Collaborative Family Law Group and has since 1993 been presiding as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court.

Tony’s practice is restricted to civil litigation with a focus on family law. He prides himself on the delivery of thorough, cost-effective and compassionate service that produces the results that his clients seek. Tony firmly believes in keeping his matrimonial clients out of Court and that they will in the end be much happier with negotiated settlements into which they have had substantial input than with decisions imposed upon them by Judges; notwithstanding that preference, Tony will defend and win his clients’ cases when the parties opposite insist upon going to Court and will not hesitate to initiate proceedings on behalf of his clients when the behaviours of the parties opposite dictate that they must be sued.
