George attended high school in Montreal and Ottawa and then received his post-secondary education at the University of Toronto (Hons B.A. History) and at the University of Western Ontario (LLB law).

His practice includes the purchase, sale and financing of real property, corporate and commercial law, with special focus on wills, estate planning and estate administration.

George has been active in many charitable and non-profit organizations including the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home Board (president), Simcoe & District Chamber of Commerce (director), Simcoe Christmas Panorama Committee (chairman), Senior Support Services (Meals On Wheels Director). He remains an active member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Simcoe, where he serves on three boards and is a member of the church choir.

George enjoys music, gardening, hiking and spending time with his wife and children.
